The parts-list tool helps you organize requirements and download a text brief. Online enquiries are not open yet. There is no online submission, stock reservation or order creation on this site.

What happens to your entries?

Part numbers, pasted CSV rows, requirements and optional contact details are processed in the current browser page. This tool does not upload these entries or send them to Chipkago. It does not use cookies, local storage or a server database to save your brief.

The home-page part number is carried to the builder in a URL fragment, which is not sent in the page request to the host, then removed from the address bar. We do not put parts-list entries in URL query parameters.

What does a download contain?

The text file includes the details you entered. It is created by your browser and saved to the location you choose or your browser's download folder. Downloading a brief does not submit it to Chipkago.

Optional contact fields are for your own record. Include only information you want in the downloaded file. Check the file before sharing it with anyone.

What remains on your device?

This tool does not save a draft for your next visit. Your browser may retain form values through autofill, page restoration or its own settings. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them. On a shared device, close the page and manage browser history, autofill and downloaded files as appropriate.

Website visits

Loading this website makes requests to its hosting service, which may process connection information such as IP address and requested page for delivery and security. This website includes no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking scripts. This explanation describes the parts-list tool; it does not claim that hosting access logs are disabled.
